You can collect your tickets directly at the reserved
cashier station at the venue ticket counters at
least 15 minutes prior to your admission or the
didactally guided tour. The ticket is only valid
on the chosen date.
The
museum was opened in 1866 shortly after Italian Unity
when the Certosa (Carthusian monastery), part of the suppressed
church endowments, was declared national monument. It
was due to the archaeologist Giuseppe Fiorelli that the
surroundings were to collect testimonies of the life of
Naples and the southern regions in a museum which divides
the historic branch into various collections of paining,
sculpture, cribs and minor arts. From the gardens you can admire the extraordinary view
of Naples!
Into
the Museum there is the Exhibition: "Micco Spadaro,
Naples during Masaniello"
